Hi Portland Friends,

Come join us for Pop-Up Caroling in Monument Square this coming Saturday. We’ll get going around 4:30 pm and go for 30-60 minutes, depending on how much spirit we have.

We’ll have a few lyrics printed out, and feel free to email Rob with any suggestions. We’ll hit some of the classics, and hope to add some funky ones as well. (But no Dominic the Donkey, we promise.)

A few other notes

• Bring a friend, or 5! This is your chance to show your skeptical friends that Quakers can be fun.
• If you have any bells, tamborines, or other portable instruments, please bring them.
• Bring a thermos filled with cocoa or a hot toddy or whatever.
• No need to RSVP, just show up.
• If anyone wants to stay after for a meal somewhere downtown, we can see who’s interested and try to do some ad hoc organizing, including maybe breaking up into two or three groups.
