Members of Portland Friends Meeting recently assisted Pastor Rufino Beca and his family and church when he was detained by ICE. Pastor Rufino has been released, and his asylum case continues. Pastor Rufino will visit with us to share his story of how he came to the US from Angola, the building of his church, and his recent detention.
