Grace is the winner of many of the nation’s most prestigious songwriting contests, grants, and residencies, including NPR’s Mountain Stage NewSong Contest, the Buddy Holly Educational Foundation, and the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation of New Mexico. Described as a little bit of folk, a little bit of country/americana, and a whole lot of soul, her songs have been recorded by other esteemed artists, including Sara Hickman and Ruthie Foster, with 3 co-writes on Foster’s latest, Grammy-nominated album, Healing Time (2024). Pettis‘ current and much-anticipated sophomore MPress Records release, Down To The Letter, captures the Nashville-based (formerly Austin-based) singer-songwriter at the peak of her songwriting powers. Chronicling the end of a marriage and the reclamation of self after betrayal, codependency, and loss with heartbreaking detail, the lyrics deftly toe the line between personal pain and universal catharsis.
Grace just released a live video that you might want to see.

Appearing also is Connor Garvey, an award-winning singer-songwriter from Portland, Maine, with the amiable presence of an entertainer, the lyrical depth of a poet, and the enchantment of a storyteller. The combination of songwriting and performance strength has earned Garvey numerous awards including being named winner of the Kerrville New Folk, Rocky Mountain Folks Fest, SolarFest, Wildflower Art and Music Festival and Maine Songwriters Association songwriting competitions, voted as Most Wanted artist at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, nominated for Best Male Performer in the New England Music Awards, and a top new singer songwriter by Sirius XM’s The Coffeehouse. It has also put him on stage at many of the country’s most notable folk festivals and intimate venues headlining shows and supporting great acts such as Brett Dennen, Tall Heights, The Ballroom Thieves, Catie Curtis, Storyhill, John Gorka, Ellis Paul, David Wilcox, and more.
The Yarmouth Public Health Council is a grassroots organization that arose from the Yarmouth Community Coronavirus Task Force. It has since been renamed and continues as a collaborative effort offering as-needed support to Yarmouth Town Government, the Town Council, and our local community.
In the past year many in the Yarmouth community have spoken movingly about disconnection and loneliness particularly following the pandemic. Thus, we want to encourage events like this that bring the people together
